Designed as a viewpoint, it aims to make more accessible and visible the geological heritage of the Roses Lighthouse shear, included in the<a href=\"http:\/\/mediambient.gencat.cat\/es\/05_ambits_dactuacio\/patrimoni_natural\/sistemes_dinformacio\/inventari_despais_dinteres_geologic\/\"> Inventory of Areas of Geological Interest in Catalonia (IEIGC)<\/a>. It consists of granodiorite rocks of great value in the understanding of the tectonic processes that occurred millions of years ago.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4924\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4924\" class=\"wp-image-4922 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imuntanya.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/PV_2021_Roses-MiradorCisalla_web1-700x470-1.jpg\" alt=\"Roses walkway \/ viewpoint\" width=\"700\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.imuntanya.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/PV_2021_Roses-MiradorCisalla_web1-700x470-1.jpg 700w, http:\/\/www.imuntanya.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/PV_2021_Roses-MiradorCisalla_web1-700x470-1-480x322.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-4924\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This walkway takes us to the shear zone of the Roses lighthouse, a geological heritage site.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This is a walkway in the maritime-terrestrial zone that establishes the value of this heritage in the area around the Roses lighthouse by a physical route. The scope of the project is limited to the area defined between the Canyelles road and the sea, from the Punta de la Bateria, passing through the meeting point with the coastal path to the lighthouse.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4929\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4929\" class=\"wp-image-4927 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imuntanya.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/PV_2021_Roses-MiradorCisalla_web2-700x470-1.jpg\" alt=\"Roses walkway &#038; viewpoint construction\" width=\"700\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.imuntanya.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/PV_2021_Roses-MiradorCisalla_web2-700x470-1.jpg 700w, http:\/\/www.imuntanya.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/PV_2021_Roses-MiradorCisalla_web2-700x470-1-480x322.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 700px, 100vw\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-4929\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The path is accessible from the coastal path as it passes through Roses.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>For its construction, a steel structure was built for the walkway and the staircase, covered in wood with beams made of single pieces and laminated profiles, was welded and galvanised in the workshop and bolted in place on site.<\/p>\n<p>The upper part of the staircase is anchored to a new reinforced concrete wall that leaves the concrete exposed. The steel structure&#8217;s foundations consist of steel bolts in the form of micropiles using the rock to transmit the loads to the ground, while at the same time being anchored to minimise the action of the waves of the Cala de Roses. The protective railings are made of X-Tend type steel mesh, forming panels between vertical steel supports, with steel cable on the four sides of each panel.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4934\"
