Infraestructuras de Muntanya S.L. has quality management system and environmental management system certificates in accordance with the requirements of UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2015 and UNE-EN ISO 14001: 2015.
For construction work in mountainous and / or difficult to access areas. More precisely:
- Installation of active and passive systems of protection against geological risks (meshes, walls, dynamic barriers, avalanche barriers);
- Carrying out special works (adaptation and creation of footpaths, rehabilitation and installation of infrastructures).
- Installation of suspension bridges and walkways.

In 2003 a multidisciplinary group of technicians created Infraestructures de Muntanya S.L., iMuntanya. Forestry and Industry engineers, as well as geologists joined together to serve the demand for work in high mountain and difficult-to-access areas.
In order to carry out this type of projects, all of us, partners and workers are trained in techniques of vertical work and drilling in areas of difficult access. Since then, iMuntanya’s projects have included repairs of installations in high mountains, installations of infrastructures in natural environments, ground stabilisation works and the recovery of ways and paths.
We didn’t limit ourselves to said projects. The experience acquired together with the availability of machinery and knowledge led us to develop our own product, lightweight and easy to transport but requiring a specialized assembly: suspension bridges for pedestrians and bicycles.
