iMuntanya has built two sections of footbridges that allow us to recover and secure sections of the Camí de Ronda to the towns of Playa de Aro and Tossa de Mar.

In Playa de Aro 40 metres have been installed in a cliff area, where path section had been reduced to unsafe dimensions for pedestrian crossing. The high degree of degradation of the area’s geological material meant that the path would disappear completely in the medium term and, with the work carried out, the inhabitants and visitors to the area can enjoy this stretch with spectacular views.

In the case of Tossa de Mar, a 90-metre stretch allows the recovery of a safe Camí de Ronda on the stretch connecting the town to Giverola’s development. Until now, the route coincided with the road, being a high risk for users. With the installation of a footbridge anchored deep in the wall of the road is achieved a safe passage without entailing structural affectation.
